What is LearnToBot?
LearnToBot is a unique Robotics and Coding class for kids aged 6-18 in Greater Houston area. We use Arduino based microcontrollers and sensors to build and code projects. Our goal is to enable every child to become a CREATOR, gaining confidence, logic, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
Who is the founder of LearnToBot?
LearnToBot is founded by Neil Dey, who holds a BS & MS in Computer Engineering and has 15 years of experience designing servers and Supercomputers at companies like Dell, HPE, and Intel. He is also an inventor with 8 patents in Computer Design.
What ages are your Robotics & Coding classes for?
Our classes are designed for kids aged 6-18.
What type of projects do the kids do?
You can see examples of the projects our kids do in our gallery.
Can the kids take all the robotic kits home?
Yes, the kids take ALL the equipment they use home, including new sensors and hardware they receive every week. All equipment is included in the class fees.
What coding languages do you teach?
Kids work with Scratch & Python as the programming languages.
Do kids need any previous coding or robotics experience to join your classes?
No, our classes are designed for beginners and no prior experience is required.
What is the class size?
We maintain an instructor to student ratio of 1:5
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we offer sibling discounts. Code is CAMPSIBLING - this is only valid for kids after the first child.
Food: Do you provide food?
Due to dietary restriction, we do not provide any food but kids are encouraged to bring snacks, drinks, food anything they would need during the duration of their camp. We have designated breaks but if kids are hungry at any time during camp, we offer the flexibility of breaks at any time.
Do you offer extended Care?
We understand schedules can be difficult with work. Yes, Extended care is available at $10/child/day. Extended Care starts as early as 8:30am and goes till 5:30pm.
